I can see how that question and those like it get old though. For every person to ask that question once, people who stutter frequently will be asked that question 50-100 times just based on the percentage of the population who stutters. If you're on the receiving end, obviously being nice to them is good because being nice is good in general and as you said and most people aren't asking out of malice, more curiosity. But if you are thinking of asking questions of something with a stutter (or any other difference that provokes similar questions) do consider that they likely have been asked those same questions a lot and maybe leave them be and look up the answers elsewhere.
