As for the first med they tried (Ritalin) I find that kinda odd, a stimulant? 🤨 Lol. 2nd Med I guess sorta makes sense to try? Maybe? Hah idk. But the only medication that has ever helped my stutter is a benzodiazepine of some sort. Xanax, Klonopin, Valium, etc. I’m prescribed Klonopin, but I’ve tried all sorts of different benzo’s (even research chemical benzos like Bromazolam, Etizolam, FluAlprazolam, etc) just seeing which ones I react best to. Unfortunately they are a harder class of medication to get prescribed sometimes, but if your doc is ever cool with letting you try a benzodiazepine for your stutter, I’d give it a try if I were you. Changed my life!
