Everyones opinions are equal it's not blasphemy it's your personal preference there's nothing wrong with preference  I personally abhor having someone "rescue me" and it takes a good bit of restraint to not show how much it bothers me  to me it signals that my opinion  doesn't matter that communicating with me is a burden that I'm predictable etc I don't at all appreciate it  but I understand a good amount of people see what they are doing as helpful to relieve me of my struggle  and for that I don't hold it against them  i instead  educate them and express my feelings on the matter  My stutter is what I'd describe as moderate and I prefer  to say what I'm thinking instead of someone trying to auto correct me
