I'm really glad that you've decided face it head on and get through. Our stutter is something that is unique to all of us, and we all deal with it in our own way. I had to set some specific challenges for myself and beat them, just to show to myself that I could/can do it. I too was very held back by my stutter, though luckily I had the support of my friends & family. Didn't help with bullies and assholes though. I got through high school, went to college and got my BSc and MSc. I've tried doing things that would usually petrify me, but after actually doing them, I realized that I should never have allowed the stutter to hold me back. I now teach at a local IT college, and regularly speak in front of large-ish crowds. If I could do it, so can you. I wish you nothing but the best, and if you ever need support, feel free to PM me.
