I have had people react both negatively and positively to my stuttering. As a child I got teased of course but as an adult that isn't a problem. Ultimately you have control over how you let these things effect you. If you believe you have no control, then you have none, you define it. There is such thing as confident stuttering. I don't believe that people stutter because they are unconfident. Establishing "DGAF" is necessary for overcoming stuttering, not confidence.
