>Staying engaged and treating him like everyone else is all you can do. As long as your satisfied with his performance it seems like his stuttering is a non issue. His internal struggles, are exactly that, his. This is a good point, a probably something I needed to hear. He occasionally doesn't respond when other people ask him questions, as I mentioned, but it's rare. I certainly don't want to impose myself on his struggle. I will say I'm going to ask him to join another team I'm putting together, one that is a lot smaller and will require more speaking. And I'm not asking him to join to single him out or anything, he's just perfectly qualified for the work that team is going to do. So maybe I'm partly asking in anticipation of that.
