Hey there. I am not a lawyer but I am currently applying for law school so if you choose to go into law just know that you are not alone :) for background I have stuttered since I was 10 and it cycles between being fairly mild and almost can't speak severe. I know my dad (who isn't a lawyer) is worried about my stutter but my mom (who is a lawyer and owns her own law firm) is not worried about my stutter. That to me gives me confidence that it won't be as big of an issue as it seems from the outside. Most of the people you talk to as an attorney (from my experience with helping at my moms law firm) will be either clients or other attorneys or government employees such as IRS agents and depending on the type of law you practice, you might never have a case go to trial. So if you are worried about your stuttering in trials, I don't think you should worry about it. If it is about general talking then just have a good support network and know that people are there to support and root for you :)
