Oh and also I highly encourage you to look at the things you are nervous to do and show up for when it comes to opportunities. Even if you are worried how your stutter will affect them, the more you continue to face these challenges, the more you will give yourself more tools to face your challenges head on throughout life. When I was hired at a busy pizza restaurant as a server I was so nervous for slowing things down but I had major support in my work environment and I think the daily challenge of meeting strangers head on all day at the door REALLY helped me apply speaking skills I had worked on in therapy in the real world. Just forcing yourself into more social situations will help you, and you will find patient people Who love your company and will give you space to speak and practice becoming more fluent. Board games are a great tool! And reading out loud. Best of luck on your journey, your stutter will absolutely become your favorite thing about yourself. I promise, just be patient
