I honestly felt the same, and still do to an extent, but there are a lot of people out there. I've yet to find a partner but that's more on me being lazy. What I do have are friends who don't make faces, who are patient and understanding, who take time to let me be me. They kind of just landed in my lap and I'm eternally grateful. You may not get everything you want, but who does? You can still have really solid companions of all stripes and it makes life worth living.
