I remember being in middle and high school - had some problems reciting poetry or speaking in Spanish class, but it wasn't anything that my friends couldn't accept/handle. He'll learn that there are bigger things in life that getting stuck, speaking of front of his peers for a few seconds. It can be embarrassing, but it's part of growing up.
