The people who made comments about my stuttering never really knew that I actually have a stutter because of how rare I do it and how non “cliche” it sounds to most people so I just started stating that I do have a stutter and that shuts them down and makes them feel stupid. Ex. I stutter on my name and I get the joke “You don’t know your own name? Haha” and I’ll instantly stop my block and say “actually I have a stutter, do you want to be patient?” This only works for me because of how mild my stutter is and I can get most words out without it happening
