The only thing that's false in your first paragraph is speech therapy. This simply doesn't work And your last paragraph is bullshit. You only say that because currently there's no medical treatment for stuttering. We don't have vyvance, or Adderall. This is just cope, there needs to be some sort of drug to improve our lives.
