In college, speaking on stage in front of industry panelists and 200 other people about my senior project. As someone with a stammer (trips over words), I was able to speak clearly and slowly, after practice and recording my speech over 2 weeks. In the end, it went really well and and everyone congratulated me afterwards. It was huge for my confidence and demonstrated that YES I can get through this or anything else.
