I’m a male and I totally get it. It must be annoying, just like how I felt when I was looking for speech therapy and all the websites and social media pages were aimed at parents of kids who stutter. I felt excluded. It really sucks when the only space available on Reddit to discuss a lifelong struggle ends up marginalising you. Although most of the time it’s unintentional, especially when the OP is talking about finding a girlfriend, which is typically dating advice from one male to another, it still doesn’t apply to women. You’re right, people should be more mindful of the OP’s gender and try to address the stuttering community in a more gender neutral way.
