What works for some might not work for others. Not to be negative to others who say to practice, but me PERSONALLY, the more I practice or think too much of what I want to say, I do terrible. Especially being a pro wrestler and doing promos in front of a live crowd. I have bullet points, and I usually call the rest on the fly. So if someone hands me a piece of paper and says "read this exactly," I'm already done. The words stick in my head too much and I already know which words I am going to struggle with. Practice could very well help you, though. But maybe practice to see if you will do better reciting a script or calling it on the fly. I had to teach myself ways to approach certain settings. You MIGHT learn that speaking out loud what cames to you in the moment will help.
