When I was in high school, I was talking in a group of people. This girl I didn't know very well asked what was wrong with me when she noticed my stutter. One of my best friends at the time tried to help and said "Oh don't mine him. He's just a little retarded". It's been over 20 years and that still stings a little to remember that.
