I’m (29M) close to tears reading this (must’ve struck something close to the heart lol), cuz I would’ve loved for my dad to do this for me. While I don’t blame him cuz he tried with what he knew, but my dad used to try to “fix me” by practicing stuff (put a pencil under your tongue, talk slow, etc.). Even now, I feel like I need my mom there to “translate” for me which kinda hinders having an intimate father-son relationship Long story short, I’m barely facing my stutter (at least starting too). Idk why I needed to say this but yeah, more like ramblings but yeah
