Like with all disabilities you have to rely on the character of the other person you are interacting with, basically you are at their mercy. To make it worse a stutter is not a very visible or recognized disability compared to something like scoliosis or being visually impaired so there is less grounds to prove discrimination. The only thing stuttering has given me is really thick skin. I used to care too much what other people thought but now I just power through the conversations regardless of the other persons reaction.
