I mean to say, getting rid of stuttering is not the goal, but increased fluency is often a result of all the other affective, behavioral, and cognitive work we do in therapy. And yes, there are changes we can make in how we talk that increase our speech fluency, but it is often not the main goal. I had a severe stutter as well and I would say I present as completely fluent most of the time. What did you do that worked for you?
