face scrunching definitely happens. for me it’s looking away from people while speaking, involuntarily putting my hands in front of my eyes (i guess to subconsciously hide myself from them) and going on my tip toes to try and force myself through a block. all of these are obviously reduced if you are less anxious and overwhelmed, easier said than done i know. what always helps me is taking a second to ground myself and doing a couple deep breaths. i know that’s what every speech therapist ever has to say but personally i feel my mind speeding up faster and faster and faster and if i can recognize this and try and slow/calm myself down it usually reduces the problems for me
