Don't worry about the negative ppl. You're still young and you have your whole life ahead of you. I come from a small island and i remembered that when i was a kid in the 90s, my dad was trying to get help to diagnose me but don't think ppl were aware of stuttering at that time or there were not a lot of speech therapists around. So, in the end, i didn't get any help but my stuttering was mild. I was sort of being bullied by some ppl during high school time. When i moved to Australia, i decided to get help on my own and did some speech therapy. It did help me a bit. I always thought that i won't go that far in life because of my stutter but here i am, i finished my Bachelor degree, have a good job with a good salary, married etc, so can't complain. Most important thing, don't be afraid to let ppl around you know that you are a stutterer if you are comfortable. But i don't say it to my workmates though. And don't give a shit about what ppl think of you because you stutter. So good luck to you and never give up.
