Stuttering I am 24 years old, been stuttering since a child, I realize that under stress, I really start stuttering super badly, it feels like a truck on my chest, the words just don't come out. People usually assume that I'm nervous, but it's really not the truth, most of the time I'm very calm and confident, but it feels like I can't control my breathing while talking. Recently I've been trying diaphragm breathing, but this helped for 2 days and then it didn't anymore. A trick that helps sometimes is holding my breath as long as I can and I'd do it like 3 times, but it's inconsistent. Sometimes it gets really bad that I can't even say my name, sometimes I don't stutter at all (very rarely). I try to speak slow and it helps sometimes but eventually I'd naturally pivot to not talking very slowly and for some reason I can't keep it consistent. Any insight, advice is welcomed.
