>I just ignore it and pretend I never noticed you sir/madam are an angel. this is the correct response. that being said, the issue between him and yall's boss is a problem but its his problem. if you think it is a concern then talk to him about it. just pull him aside, let him know you need to talk about something important with him, tell him what you see between him and the boss, and *ask if it bothers him.* if it does then convince him to either confront the boss or go to HR. if your relationship with him is not that personal/friendly then go to HR yourself and get them to talk *to your co-worker* (NOT the supervisor) about it. he knows he stutters, he is already embarrassed by it, and he may need a nudge to start fighting for the respect he deserves, but there is NOTHING more patronizing than fighting battles for people with disabilities when they dont need it. if i were in his position it would be nice to know someone was one my side and that i was not imagining any disrespect.
