Hello my friend! If you feel like you're inhaling or exhaling hiccups on your words, this may be considered Dysrhythmic Phonation. [Here's a ridiculous video but "Matthew" presents with a few moments of dysrhythmic phonation](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rw04IXYpQgQ) where he's catching an inhale or exhale in the middle of the word (0:50 mark). Note his breathing pattern is sudden and inappropriate. i.e. "Hi my name *gasp*[is] Matthew" Is this similar to what you experience? The cheapest speech services you're probably going to find is through a university clinic. See if the local universities around you have a speech language pathology program, and they'll likely have a clinic or be able to guide you to a local clinic where they offer discounted services (because it's run by students). Go in for a consultation or evaluation for stuttering :) Best of luck and smooth speech!
