Hey Man, Sorry to hear it didn't have any effect for you :(. Apparently this only works for about of 1/3 of people. However based on the research I've done there may be many factors at play here: **Bioavailability -> the proportion of a drug or other substance which enters the circulation when introduced into the body and so is able to have an active effect.** As stated in my blog post when I first tried this out (unsuccessfully) I tried with Magnesium Oxide & Thiamin Mononitrate. From my research these are the cheapest forms of these supplements with the lowest bioavailability. When I switched to the more bioavailable versions of these i.e. Magnesium Glycinate & Thiamine Hydrochrolide and upped the dose is when this became effective for me: - https://www.swansonvitamins.com/blog/chelsea/magnesium-types-compared - Sorry I don't remember the source for the thiamine info. Which version of these supplements did you use ? Another point to add is that Thiamine is water soluble and thus deemed to be safe as the body gets rid of it quite easily. For these reasons it's bioavailability can be quite low and it has trouble passing the blood brain barrier to be effective. If I could make a completely unscientific guess about what happened in my case is that the changes I made to the supplements and dosage jacked up the amount of 'bioavailable' amounts of these supplements in my blood to the point where they cld pass through the blood brain barrier and be effective for me .. (Could be a total BS guess too though lol :D) I've been reading about a much more effective form of thiamine called Sulbutiamine https://www.smartdrugsforthought.com/what-is-sulbutiamine/ The characteristics of this form of thiamine is that it is fat soluble. Therefore it can build up in your body (and has a few other noted side effects - check out the link). For these reasons it passes the blood brain barrier very easily. It isn't recommended for long term use and I'm definitely NOT giving you medical advice but IF I were you it would be worth giving this a shot to see if that has an effect ? I actually intend to try this other supplement for research purposes and add the experience to my blog ... Thanks SJ
