Yeah it's illegal to reject someone for a stutter here too but companies will still do it. They just won't outright tell you that it's because of the stutter and risk a lawsuit. They will just cite another reason for the rejection. (Like: better culture fit) Or even something wild like "we liked the other candidate's shoes better" because shoes are not a protected ground and employers can say anything they want. It's difficult to prove that someone rejected you for a stutter.
