How is/was your college experience with a stutter? I’m currently a 3rd year Engineering student and it’s been pretty brutal so far. My roommate recently switched schools and I live 6 hours away from home so I literally don’t have anyone to talk to anymore. Making friends has been so hard for me because of my stutter and social anxiety. The only people I talk to are my lab partners and I only meet with them once a week for a couple hours. Even raising my hand in class to ask a question or participate in class discussions is difficult. I’m just to terrified of blocking in front of the class so I usually just don’t say anything. My stutter and anxiety have literally been taking over my whole college experience :( How did you guys cope through college?
