My son started stuttering when he was 3-1/2. We have been seeing a speech therapist for the past four years. I recommend finding one who specializes in stuttering. I actually had one therapy clinic tell me they could no longer service my son as they did not feel they had the expertise in stuttering. I appreciated that honesty. Our specialist is amazing.
