Adult onset stuttering caused by recreational drugs? I experience stuttering when I’m in public with friends/strangers. I experience no to minimal stuttering with immediate family. I can’t pinpoint an exact time when I started stuttering but it definitely wasn’t an issue for me when I was a growing up through to my teenage years. I experimented with recreational drugs during my teenage - university years mainly cannabis and mdma but I stopped soon after finishing university. I hardly do anything now. I am 28 years old. I am going to start seriously addressing my stuttering and I would like to consider all angles. Does anyone have any insight whether recreational drugs has the potential to cause adult onset stuttering where there are no indications during childhood
