I was talking about this the other day. My nephew is starting his career training as an accountant and when I was in his shoes many years ago I held back from applying for many jobs. Even though I chose accounting as I thought I could hide behind a desk its not really like that! Now that I am am more confident speaker and have a handle on stuttering I wish I was in that position again and would have chosen a completely different direction.
