There was a study in the 50's showing children who stutter increased their fluency by taking thiamin. A 2002 study found 30 percent of males who took 300 mg of thiamin (B1) increased their fluency. http://www.stuttering.com/research.html I've taken 300 mg of B1 and can not say whether or not it helps. Edit: For those who don't know what B1 specifically does it primarily works on the nervous system. If you want to try this, B1 can be purchased at your local store for less than $10.00. Remember to eliminate all caffeine from your diet as caffeine inhibits B1.
