Speaking fast? Hi, I have a general question, does anybody here speak fast? My stutter was really bad like 5/6 years ago, being scared to talk in public, but my great speech therapist helped me a lot and my stutter is almost gone, as has my fear of public speaking. Sometimes though, when I have to speak for an extended period of time (as little as 5/10 seconds onwards), as the time goes on I suddenly start speaking at rapid speed, and stuttering at the same time. Now, do any of you have this same kind of experience, or maybe any tips? I feel that if I can get rid of this experience, my speaking problem will be almost over, but it's frustratting because I have certainly tried a lot, but it has not improved as much as I hoped. Anyway, thanks for reading this and your time, just wanted to get this off my chest.
