I have to be honest and say the scene that you describe sounds funny to me. Any subject can be funny. It all depends on how it's handled. Even when I was a kid, I was never offended by, say, Porky Pig. I just knew that he was a stuttering pig who did the best he could. Anyway, post the clip if you can find it online.
