Thank you for your responses :-) I would describe my stuttering in three stages. Up until I was 13 I couldn't answer the phone or even start speaking. Some sentences it was okay, but then the next sentence it was back. So 2 or 3 on your scale. From 13-20 it was pending between somewhat fluent with my best friends to absolute nothing with the rest. Not being able to read loudly or talking to anyone I didn't know very well. So 5-6 on your scale. I made much progress by simple forcing myself to answer the phone etc. After 20 I would say I can order what I want, speak to who I want and say which sentence I want. 8-9 on your scale.
