For some reason my mind makes me think that it takes too long to say "My name is ___" and people won't listen. I subconsciously have a stigma that people are impatient when really it isn't true but now I can usually say my name as I said above and it's alright. I don't think I'd be able to do it comfortably if I was standing in front of an audience but to one or two people, I'd definitely feel more comfortable.
