Thanks for replying. I guess it's more common than I thought. Deem down I have no real confidence or conviction in what I say when talking. I tend to speak fast, rush my sentences as if to finish talking as quick as possible. I've tried working on this but I tend to get flustered and introverted if someone says 'what'. I guess a reason why I want to address this now is because due to a sort of forced promotion I'll shortly be in a position of power where I will have to manage people, attend and talk openly at meetings with management and interact with important clients on a regular basis. I'm really dreading this because I have no real belief in my self or my social skills.
