I've given stuttering a lot of thought, and I think the purpose of this subreddit should be improvement, somewhere you can get new ideas for challenges, feedback and of course information and support. I took an engineers approach to my stuttering problem, basicly figuring out the key ingredients for my stuttering and then trying to minimize these. My biggest problem was figuring out my key ingredients, but I kept an open mind and eventually got some that I could work on. It is very hard to try and write down and I am not sure that there exist a general solution to the stuttering problem, everyone needs to find a way that suits them. I also read a lot of books about communication in general, because if I only could say a few words, they better be understood as good as possible. Which I highly recommend. It took a lot from me, but today I can acually call myself fluent. I just want to tell you that it is not impossible (as some idiots tell people).
