I think the most important thing is to not make a big deal about it, unless it’s obvious that the kid already thinks of it as a big deal. Pulling a kid out of class and giving them therapy counts as “making a big deal about it.” Drawing attention to the stutter, even if you’re trying to help, reinforces and entrenches it.
