it's a bit autobiography -- she retells some of her experiences with stuttering. It's technically a memoir. So, it's in the same vein as stream of other autobiographical writers such as David Sedaris. I've not yet completed the book but it's well written. I really appreciated her discussion about her reactions to other people's reactions to her stutter. I quite enjoy it, if you're curious out it she has a [blog](http://katherinepreston.com/blog/). That might be more helpful than my paltry synopsis edit: spelling
