why did you marry this man if you are genuinely so annoyed and intolerant of how he talks? if he has a developmental stutter, it is never going to go away. you need to either make peace with it and be patient with him until he gets his words out or cut him loose so he can find a spouse that genuinely loves him, ALL of him, which INCLUDES his stutter. and if this is just a vent post because you've had a bad communication day with him and you're just complaining, this is NOT the subreddit to do it. this post comes off somewhat condescending and callous anyway, and I bet if your husband found it he would be heartbroken. a lot of it is really mean. if something in YOUR life changed to where you are no longer able to tolerate his speech, then you need to figure that out for yourself and not put the onus on him to change. he is not going to change and he CANNOT change. my advice would be couple's therapy, but it sounds like this is a YOU problem and it is not a "WE" problem.
