Would it help if you could relax more? Maybe anti-anxiety medication would help to an extent. I take propranolol and it makes a significant difference (though I know it hasn't helped others -- everyone is different). You might also try meditation. Google 'mindfulness'. Someone in this forum mentioned it the other day as something that they found really helpful.
