I deal with this same issue, albeit on a smaller scale. I need to take my own advice, but you just have to say fuck it, and try not to worry what anyone else thinks of you. You should see a therapist (psychological, speech, or both). Talking to someone really helps. Also, I know insurance is tricky with stuttering but there's a 12-day intensive course in Virginia that I haven't personally taken, but I know someone who had horrible stuttering said it completely changed his life. Info is here http://www.stuttering.org/ Also, here is a really good response from a redditor answering my post a few days ago. http://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/18ti7k/how_did_you_get_over_your_confidence_issues/c8i2w9w
