I’m so sorry you’re struggling with this. As a former stutterer myself, I know how incredibly frustrating and demoralizing it can be to feel trapped by your own speech. The constant embarrassment and anxiety can make you want to withdraw from the world completely. I think it’s important to remember that suicidal thoughts are a symptom of the immense pain and hopelessness you’re feeling, not a reflection of your true worth or potential. So many people contemplate suicide for all kinds of reasons when they’re at their lowest point. But you have value far beyond your ability to speak fluently. You mentioned having a supportive family, which is wonderful. Please lean on them and open up about what you’re going through. There are also communities and resources specifically for people who stutter - places where you’ll be fully understood and accepted. I know it’s hard to reach out, but isolation will only make things worse. I truly hope you’ll keep fighting and not let your stutter rob you of the full life you deserve. It may not feel like it right now, but there are always reasons to keep living, and there are many incredible life experiences you have yet to live. You matter, stuttering and all. Wishing you all the best.
