You're welcome! It's absolutely worth asking. Remember, the worst they can say is no. I've noticed that my son's teachers seem to be uncomfortable initiating helping him. I think they are unsure of if he needs help or if he wants to conquer it and feel proud of himself for giving the speech. But just like you mentioned, he absolutely doesn't want to be fighting, trying to give a speech and worrying about what others think. Once he tells them that he's struggling and explains what it's like and how it affects him, they are happy to help. And don't worry about what other students think. Trust me, they are probably worrying about their own presentation or something going on in their life. I don't have a stutter, but I am extremely shy, and getting up in front of the class terrified me. Anytime we had to present stuff in school, I was completely panicking about my own presentation and not paying any attention to anyone else. And once mine was done, I was just so relieved that I survived it that I still wasn't paying attention. I hope it helps!
