Sounds like wishful thinking to me. A person with autism can't fix his faulty wired brain either. A severe stutterer faces the same issue. You are basicly shaming them for something they have little control over by claiming it's their beliefs or lack of effort that is causing them to stay a severe stutter. While instead they are hard wired to do so and a cure for the dopamine spiking when talking and lack of control of speech motor control in the brain hasn't been found yet.
