I graduated in 2005. I've been working as a Linux/BSD systems admin since then. I do a lot of development in Perl to support and maintain our infrastructure. My degree honestly didn't help me that much. The most useful parts for me are algorithm theory and computational theory. Everything else (95%) was learned on the job.
