Yea I think that's simply disgusting that these companies try to make a quick buck through "Flash sales!" and "Deals!" on devices that could potentially be helping millions around the world. I would never buy anything like that, it goes against my morale obligations unless I knew it would 100% guarantee cure my stutter. IF anything, you could ask to trial it and see how it goes before making any commitments to purchases. I know that speecheasy runs in the thousands.. It also looks like an 8-year old made their site. Looks like a scam to me tbh.
