Not just women, people in general like confidence. I would recommend that OP concentrate his efforts on going out into the world living an awesome life. Online dating can be a huge time-sink with a tiny success ratio. That's no fun at all. Why do people continue to do that to themselves? Try new things - then purge the stuff you didn't like and keep the stuff you liked. Rinse, wash, repeat, and OP will be on his way to getting the most out of life. One thing to try is engaging strangers. It may be terrible at times but no worse than dealing with dating profiles.
