Also an SLP, in general the ASHA number, truthfully, doesn't matter. The ASHA certificate is really just a membership to a club that we have to pay for. It's more important that they are licensed in their respective state(s). Every state has a way to look up the license of an SLP and tell if it's in good standing or not. For example, I'm in MO so I just google "MO SLP license verification" or something similar.
