I really enjoyed the babysitting one. I’ve had kids do that to me as well, where they just say I talk funny and move on. My baby brother actually said that before I explained to him what Stuttering was. My friends mock me at times but it’s because we all joke about each other and we don’t mind. I find that if you can laugh at yourself, it helps with confidence and accepting it. Its apart of who I am, there’s no point in shaming such a thing. It’s one reason why I love the memes on this sub once in a while. But there is a fine line with people because for your roommate, that’s clearly reprehensible.
